Door trim

Hey everybody!
Just wondering if anybody out there has replaced the chrome plastic pieces that fit on top of the doorskin below the window on a type 44.  Mine are, of course all cracked up and coming off.  I found a nice set on a wreck and would love to be able to pull them without breaking them.  Any help would be appreciated.
