If the price quoted on the Avons includes mounting and balancing, the
difference in price comes much closer. I have no idea what the Avons are
like. I do rather like my Kumho's though, smooth, quiet, but perform like
Bridgestone RE-71's. Looks like they will outlast the Bridgestones by a
fair bit though. The only real complaint is that they must've used some
kind of super mold release on the tires. When they were new, until I wore
the mold release off of the tires, the rain peformance seemed almost as
if I was driving on ice. Once the release wore off, they are excellent
rain tires.
