Yes, this is the car I posted about some time ago on this list, when it
was for sale. It wasn't mine, but it belonged to a guy whose father
bought the car new in late 1992 and never really drove it. It was garaged
the whole time, except perhaps driven once a week to warn it up and keep the
battery charged. The father passed away recently and the family had
to let the car go. Steve Sherwood, prez of the NorCal Audi Club wound up
buying it, and the pics posted on Audiworld are from Steve S.
I would have bought the car myself if I had enough garage room.
I just saw the car in person yesterday, when I attended the NorCal Audi
Club sponsored tour/demo/Q&A at Audi's dealer tech training facility
nearby. Steve drove that mint 4000 there. It really is like a time
capsule piece; looks like it just drove off the showroom floor.
