Eurolights, slush and blizzards

On the A4, there are 2 pumps, one for the windshield, the other for the
lights. Interestingly enough, from what I can figure out by looking at all
of the schematics, the main pressure generating is done by the actual pop up
washer heads. They apparently have their own internal pump. I guess that
the pump in the reservoir feeds the pressure heads, which in turn generate
the high pressure spray.

Family album illustration 173-00 shows one pump for headlight
washer. Illustration 172-05 shows same pump for windshield
washer. There's a second pump for the special detergent tank on V8
windshield washer systems. The pump in 173-00 feeds a tee connector to
both the headlight system and the windshield system. I see only one line
coming off the main reservoir in my wife's V8. But I haven't examined it
from the bottom to see if there's a second pump down there.
