I'm going to take a shot here!!

Possibility One:  You could have a bad ground.  Which is forcing the car to
ground "some" of the wiring through your antenna.  Did you run a wire to
ground when installing your radio??  Or did you just simply use the factory
ground wire??  The factory ground wire is pretty small!!

Possiblity Two:  You have a short (read: cut in the insulation) on your
"dimmer wire" which was able to find a ground at your antenna.  At the jump
start it shook itself off of the "short" and radio function returned!!

Most likely it's number two!!  Those are my stabs!!!
