How to get the 90 door handles off

I've got my manuals on order for my wife's new car, but we busted the
driver's door handle this weekend (don't think Audi had Minnesota in mind
when they designed those things), and I need to replace it, but can't seem
to find how to get it off.  Any process or advice would be appreciated, as
well as boogers to watch for.
