Overseas Transmission Shipping

    Anyone ever have the pleasure of importing a transmission into the US?
A nice lister posted that a dealer in the UK had two FWD trannys.  Both have
20k mileage and are being sold for around $200USD!  This is very tempting as
my trans has a weak 2nd gear synchro, 120k miles, and a leaking selector
shaft seal.  The only problem is shipping the damn thing.  I shipped my old
trans from NY to MO and it cost $250.  I can't even imagine what shipping
from the UK to NY would be, anyone?
