5K seat height

I believe I once read in the archives that the 2C has a lower seat height 
than a 5k.
I would like to lower the bark-a-lounger drivers seat in my wife's 5K to give 
me a little more headroom.  Would a seat bracket from a 2C do the trick or is 
there more to this project?  I also have a 91 2C, but it has sport seats 
which sit much lower so its hard to compare.  Thanx for any input.
