Dunlop SP 8000E

Hi Guys,

I guess I've done enough lurking for a little while, so here's my sad
tale...

My left front Dunlop SP 8000E bit the dust last Friday (I know I shouldn't
be using these things in the winter). Shortly after, I discovered that the
SP 8000 and the SP 8000E are NOT the same tire, and that the "E" stands for
EXPENSIVE! These tires list for over $900 a piece in Canada, and the best
price I could negotiate for a replacement in Toronto was $450 installed. As
a result, I ended up buying 4 Nokian NRWs, and I am loving the snow covered
side streets!

However, I am confident that I will want my summer tires back when the snow
is gone. The surviving SP 8000E's have about 35,000 km on them, and they
have not passed their half-life yet, so it seems a shame to throw them out.
This leaves me with two options:
1. Find one (or two) new or slightly used Dunlop SP 8000E 205/55-16 tires
somewhere. Any ideas?
2. Sell three slightly used Dunlop SP 8000E 205/55-16 tires and buy four of
something else. Any ideas?

I look forward to benefiting from your collective wisdom on this
predicament. Thanks.
