It's backkkk.....super coupe returns....

Hey all.  Picked up the super coupe, AKA my 1986 Audi Coupe GT, from the mech 
today.  Nice job, all in all.  Idle - horrible.  Sounds way cool, but to 
those who don't know what a cam'd car sounds like - it sounds like its about 
to die.  THubbida thubbida thub thub thub thubbbida....etc.  The exhaust is 
loud, but not overbearing.  Acceleration is much better than before.  Nice to 
get into a car that is so tight and exact.  It's like riding on a razor 
blade.  That is loud.  And has two doors.  Sort of.  Anyways, I'm pretty 
happy, although the header is leaking at one of the connections, so it'll 
have to go back next week to get that worked out.  All in all, though, very 
impressive.  Got lots of "Cooooooolllllllllll......."'s from my friends at 
work - then I managed to spin tire through first and second gears, which also 
impressed them.  For those who didn't know, the car got bumped compression, a 
tubular header with 2.5 inch exhaust, and a 270* Elgin cam, with also a new 
o2 sensor, new injectors, new lines, a new thermostat, new valve seals, and a 
few other odds and ends.  I'm broke.  Car goes to the dyno soon - look for 
results, although I'm not sure it's up to the power that I was anticipating - 
but then again, I didn't get a chance to really stretch it out at all coming 
home.
