Oil pump questions...

Hi,
I have a fairly urgent question regarding the oil pump fitted to the
gen-1 MC engine from the Audi 200 (1989). Does any other engine (codes
PR, WA, WC, WB) share the same oil pump?
The reason? Well, the engine is near done (sleeves and all), but the oil
pump was not being delivered by my mechanic to the engineer. And there I
was getting all excited when the engineer promised a complete engine in
a week. In the last week my mechanic dropped off 4-5 pumps all in
varying degrees of decay, and one of them needing a fairly heavy whack
from a hammer to release whatever pressure release things are in there.
That's what my engine builder says. My mechanic says one of those pumps
came off the engine I sent in which has zero wear on it. I can but only
assume my mechanic has sold off my good oil pump and still tried to con
me into giving him some cash for a flywheel which was really cash to go
and buy my oil pump back. Apparently this idiot has been selling off
people's parts and been taking cash from people upfront for work that is
never done. He just got sued for a few thousand dollars for some work
that never got done or not done properly. Right now I am in need of a
working oil pump for the MC engine as a 2nd-hand one will result in me
losing all warranty on the rebuild, which is shocking considering the
oil pump off the sub-assembly I bought was perfect (as indicated by zero
wear on the bores and crank). The local Masterparts has oil pumps for
the above mentioned Audi 5-cylinder motors. The pumps are from Febi in
Germany. They have pumps for the 2.6 cylinder as well and I'm not sure
if that is equivalent, although I think it will work.
Thanks folks.
