Type 44Q gearshift alignment

The Big Red Bus is reassembled and ready for the road - but
Roger put the gearbox back in and all gears selected are
forward ones - it looks like I have six 1st gears.

Also, the normal self-centering action of the gear stick has
vanished.

Does anyone have a copy of the gearshift alignment
procedure for a 1990 Type 44 quattro online anywhere?
