And did.  A fine old English word - the anatomical meaning is more
recent.

I'm glad to see it's moved down the official league table of obsceneness
as defined annually by the Broadcasting Standards Commission.  The top
three positions haven't changed, as usual - there's a noticeable shift
up the table for racist words such as nigger and Paki, and a downward
shift for generic obscenities.
