O2 Sensor Out - Threads Gone - Can I drive?

I believe the number for the generic OXS is 13913 or very close.
You seem to be saying that the threads stripped off of the old OXS.
If that is the case, the hole is probably still okay. You may only need
to clean the threads out. When I removed the OXS from the V8, I
had a devil of a time and thought the threads were shot. I had
difficulty
getting the new one to go in, but with some careful perserverance, it
finally went in smoothly.
Driving with the OXS should not be a big deal. I really wouldn't be
overly concerned about the fumes. Chances are they won't make it in
to harm you. Crack a window or pull the vent fan on high. But given
the above, you may be able to avoid this issue all together.
