O2 Sensor Out - Threads Gone - Can I drive?

Did you strip the threads off the sensor or the hole? 
Normally I leave the threads from the sensor in the
hole.  Just run a tap (14mm or 16mm I forget?-I just
posted this!) in the hole and you can screw in your
new sensor by hand.

Driving it that short distance should not be any
problem.
