Stupid question- sidemarker lights

I purchased clear rectangular side markers from New
Dimensions (big VW tuner) a couple of years ago. Not made by
Hella as the 200's are, but are dimensionally, and
aesthetically identical. I mounted them on my 4KQ, in
approximately the same relative distance from the fender
opening and Audi fender trim/molding emblem as the 200. They
go well with the clear wrap of the E-code H4/H1 headlights,
and are wired to run as well as blink.
