In fact, they are faster than M3's - and the M Coupe (breadvan) is even 
faster still.  The rear suspension is out of the earlier, E30 M3 setup, 
though, and the handleing suffers as a result.  Having driven one, not a bad 
package, all in all, though - an M Coupe will whip the bajesus out of a TT 
225hp in the dry - that's for sure.
