Listing everything ever to go wrong with a 5k isnt the point here... its
whats a common problem and yes there are a FEW but this isnt a Fiat we are
talking about here, yes there WILL be things to fix with nearly every car
and more in some that arent taken care of.  5000 cs's were pretty close to
$50,000 new, so keeping that in mind, they were mostly probably serviced at
dealers till the mid 90's until the value of the car dropped to where it is
now (fairly cheap).  Therefore a good many of them should be in decent
shape.

If you are young, single, have very few obligations and prefer spending
your weekends under your car, definitely use 10+ year old used Audi
parts to repair your ride.

The 5k was a good car and the 5kcs was the top of the line so it stands to
reason its going to be in better shape than your avg 5k with the exception
of the COMMON failures, that being what i listed previously and a couple
things i missed, but nowhere near the huge list of failures that was
posted....
