Greatest Driving Moments

Driving home late at night with 4 friends in my VW Jetta, 3 of them
sleeping. It was a remote highway, and my awake friend and I thought it
would be fun to scare sleeping buddies. I slammed on the brakes and swerved
toward the ditch while we were both screaming "Deer! Deer!"
Same awake friend and I riding in van late at night (different night).
Neither of us were driving, but the driver was riding the shoulder like
crazy. We came to a crest in the hill, and we saw a runner on the shoulder.
We both told the driver that he was going to hit the runner, he said no way.
As we approached, the runner jumped in the ditch, but the guy driving the
car didn't see her jump. My friend and I, at the appropriate moment, hit
the sides of the van (so it sounded like we hit something), and the guy
driving slammed on the brakes and got out and was looking hysterically for
the person he hit, meanwhile, my friend and I were peeing our pants
laughing.

Subject: Greatest Driving Moments
Hello list! I was just thinking of some of my best driving moments
and I think it would be nice to know all of yours. So ill kick things
off.
Going snow plowing on my 1997 Monte Carlo FWD with snow tires on and
not even coming close to getting stuck. While my friend (who regularly
puts down the Monte Carlo) in his 1981 Nissan Datson Pulsar NX gets
stuck in 4x less snow.
Narrowly avoiding a rather large ding while i was "snowplowing" in my
1988 Audi 90 FWD (ARGH FWD IN WINTER!).
I was speeding towards this *snowpile* about 2 1/2 feet high and lost
my nerve and avoided it. And when i get close.. i see it is a 2 1/2
feet tall pile of rocks lightly dusted in snow. WoW that would need
some repair!
Perfecting my handbrake turns around residential street corners.
Now none of these eXperiences are a very smart thing to do. but i am a
kid fitting the stereotype of the irresponsible maniac after school gets
out, so what can i say?
LoL well i hope i can hear ALL of your eXperiences!
