Yeah, you could go to manual streering, but I wouldn't. I had it on my
Porsche 924 and while it was great at speed, it really sucked around
parking lots. You MR2 was great because it had very little weight over the
front end and could get away with it, but on a bigger car like an Audi with
more weight on the front tires, turning those wheels will take a lot more
effort. Sorry. I miss my 924, too. :( If you're a big guy and don't
drive around town too much, then it's not so much of a concern, but even on
my 924 my sister and girlfriend both had a hard time muscling the car
around once I went to a slightly smaller diameter steering wheel.
