Clutch replacement time

I don't know how anyone replaces a clutch or drops a trans with a car on
ramps? Isn't that hard to do with the car on a serious angle, or am I
missing something here? When I did my trans dropping, twice, I had the car
lifted on four corners with jackstands, high enough to yank the transmission
out from underneath on an angle. The engine didn't require any support or
tilting when I threw the trans back in, but it did require a 3 ton jack and
LOTS of fiddling to get that pilot lined up. It's a big job, soak the
exhaust bolts big time, coke and WD40 worked for me:) Actually soak all the
bolts if you can, overnight before you tackle the job. And change the
fluid, and if you can the seals, all of them! I found out my selector shaft
seal leaks, but I could have replaced that twice, and didn't, duh...

Good Luck!
