Are your type 89's windscreen washers plugged?

no it ain't, the hose costs bugger all too, 90p for 3m

Try putting _hot_ water over everything, those brittle hoses go really flexible,
if you put them in recently boiled water, and pull right off the jets. I guess a
hair dryer would work too, if you have one lying around.

My old jets came out sacrifically, as did the hose but you could snap the
little clip off the back of the jets, pull them through the hole in the
bonnet and dip them, plus hose, in a cup of hot water for 5 secs to make the
tube go all flexible again. Replacing the jets is also easier after the hard
plastic things are put in hot water, the clip softens up and they press back
into the holes on the bonnet very easily.

I took the opportunity to take everything out and give it a good clean as I
didn't want my new jets to get clogged with the crap in the washer bottle.
