Small Projector Lights that really work?

Personally, I'd go for Euro's (my time + budget says this'll happen maybe
this summer), the XL's are the only auxiliary headlights I've heard
about, everything else is either fogs or driving lights, and in the
application to a type 44, just too plain ugly. I live in a suburban
enough area that the 9007 conversion seems acceptable for now, but they
really suck in the fog (real Euro's are SO much better in this respect.
I've had them in the past). The only other option (to me, an asthetic
compromise I'm unwilling to do) is to switch to quad retangulars (direct
replacement type) like the '84 - '85 type 44s, or Euro's for the type 44
non-turbos. I'll settle for the Hella version of the PIAA type round fogs
(Micro FF's are too large, real PIAA's too expensive), hidden behind the
lower grille. Again, this won't happen (at this rate) until summer.
