I have installed the Scorpion exhaust on three occasions in the last
4 years and there have been some changes relative to Scott J's
description.
There is no down pipe in the system. It begins aft of the converter with
a clever pipe that is long enough to eliminate the kitty if you wish.
It's
kind of a slip joint, the front pipe is long enough to reach the down
pipe
for a sans kitty setup. Leave the cat and you have to trim the rear of
the front pipe slightly, since it interferes with the first bend on the
rear pipe. It's very evident when you see it in person. Two rolled edge
tips exit in the stock (left) position. Without actually measuring
them,
each tip is about 80mm's.(I have a photo of the rear if anyone wants
to see them.)
List opinions of TAP aside, it is a very well made system and worth the
cost. IMHO
