The brake shudder is most likely the UFO brakes. It might
have had the conversion to G60's but the UFO's were known
for the tendency to warp. However!, they are superior to G60's
when it counts, the ability to stop the car. If they are UFO's and
if the dealer takes care of them properly (replacement) then you're
way ahead of the game since they're expensive and if you get it
with new, you're golden. If they're not UFO's, no worry. The G60's
aren't dangerous. You'd probably only know the difference if you'd
driving the UFO's before. With shuddering UFO's in many cases,
a few hard stops from 80, each followed by several minutes of cool
down driving without brake use, usually straightens them out
acceptably. A newly painted hood is good, as long as they match
it well. The color in question is Indigo Mica metallic. It may seem
like regular navy blue at first sight, but there is some depth to it and
you'll want a top notch repaint. If that's in question even slightly,
I'd
take it as is without a repaint. If it's bird droppings, you can
probably
get away with a good buffing or clay magic treatment. As is might
sweeten the deal for you as well.
If the brakes are G60's, they'll probably not blink at fixing them. If
they're UFO's they may balk but I'd hold firm on that, maybe "giving
up" the hood repaint as a bargaining tool. If worse comes to worse,
knock down the price due to brakes and the wisdom of the list will
carry you through.
