Hi Mike;
If the specified Euro belt is not used, the car will spit it out. North
American belts have the wrong V section for the Audi pulleys.
If you are using the right Euro belt and the car is still spitting them out,
something is out of alignment, either static or under load. Check all mounts
for tightness and wear - can the alternator move under load? Check the
adjusting mechanism for wear. Check the pulleys for alignment - are they out
of plane, or in plane but staggered? It sounds like an alignment issue.
