Help! 4kq dead

This sounds similar to my 87 4kq when it needed a fuel pump relay. How warm 
was the engine? If it made it up to operating temperature, my car would start 
back up after it stalled. However, if the engine was cold when it "stalled" 
(like someone shut key off) it would require a 20 minute waiting period 
before it could be started again. Just a suggestion of something to check, 
let me know what the final diagnosis is.
