the no 1 line is definately on no 1 cyl and no messing with the throttle
body etc.

It doesn't matter a fig which one goes where, but it IS important that the
line going to #1 injector clears the bottm of the throttle quadrant in the
throttle closed position.
If, e.g., you install #5 line to #1 injector, the pipe goes up when leaving
the injector instead of down and blocks the fully closed throttle position.
(You can look for the problem here for a LONG time. As always, the initial
experience was made in the rain and in the dark, so quadruple points.)
The general rule is as stated - if it looks neat and pretty, it's right.
