Looks like i learned the hard way, but i wonder why it run above 1500rpm.

Bummer to > say the least. I have yet to pull the cam cover off but i
suspect it may > have something to do with oil pump leak maybe. Just about
all of the small bolts down there, including the ones that only seem to hold
the lower cover one, actually close small oilways or are critical to the
pump gasket. Also it's very easy to damage the crank oil seal when mounting
an oil pump on an engine that's already in the car.
