Dropping the oil pan

Is it possible to drop the oil pan on an 200 Q (MC engine) without dropping
the subframe?

I guess I'd better plan on replacing the oil pan gasket while I'm at it?
 Would this gasket be a "dealer only" item?

The reason I want to drop the pan is to check/clean the oil pump pickup
screen.  I wonder if there's anything else I ought to do while it's apart.
