crazy from the heat...speedometer problem...

I am no sure whether IC of the 5K '88 and 200tq '89 are same but if yes then:
I had same problem with my speedo but I did not notice correlation to
temperature.
I found the problem exactly where Scott Mockry pointed to in his web site.  By
the way I came across Audi document describing same problem and same solution.
Resoldered and now it is stable as should be.
