Don't know it it's too late, but the other kickstart that works (for three months for me) is to find the 90 degree elbow hose from the airbox to the fan motor in the plenum (under the cover), pull the end out from the motor end (cylindrical part of the airbox) and you have a direct shot to one of the motor brushes. You can use a screwdriver or other tool to lightly "punch" at least the exposed brush, and it's sheet metal holder, further against the commutator. It can work for weeks at a time until it has to be done again. Got me from January to late March, when I finally had time to replace the blower motor itself.
