Vapor Lock

I'm not sure if I fixed it or it's just cooler today. I pulled the fuel
pump relay today, intending to jumper it. It was somewhat corroded, so I
cleaned it up and reinstalled to see what would happen. It starts hot!
[Walla/Voila'] I have to drive to Chicago Friday, so I'll see if it starts
after that drive.

Big Question: What's the fuse receptacle on the fuel pump relay for? Seems
like we covered this once, but I can't find it. I tried putting a fuse in,
and found the fuel pump starts (after a slight delay) when I turn the
ignition key to the on position. It never did that before, seems like a
good thing, but I've never had a fuse there. The fuse connects a terminal
on the Electonic Ignition Contol Unit to ground. I can't find any reference
to it in my Bentley. I guess they needed the room for the page on removing
and installing floor mats >:\
