Yah, go to the vendor list, and for about $250 (I actually recall less)
Jorgen Automotive has Stainless Steel rebuilt racks with a lifetime
warrantee including (only) $90 back towards labor if the rack ever needs
to be replaced. You'd still have the $475 repair bill (warrantee applies
to professional installation, although the sales rep said even DIY's
still get the rack warrantee), but nearly $500 less on the cost of a rack
that'll probably never leak on you. Then flush the fluid every couple of
years or so. Use Pentosin with the red cap.
