Watch this hose

Same hose split on my 87 5ktq recently, but I noticed the antifreeze smell
and patched it up temporarily with instant glue and some cloth and a small
hose clamp. The patch saved the head and got me home. Nasty spot to get at
with any kind of tool or clamp. You don't want this to happen to your car
unexpectedly.
MC owners are well advised, as Phil suggests, to replace this hose with
either a new fitting or take the fitting off and cobble a replacement hose
somehow, before yours fails. The hose is swaged to the fitting at one end,
so it will require some adaptation. They are getting to the end of their
natural life.

Mine blew at 145mph and cost me the head. DM1900 for parts, DM800 for
labour, plus 16% tax.
