A/C Compressors

Can a 88 5000 A/C compressor be used on a 90 200TQ? How about
the clutch
being swapped only? Compatable?


They should all be the same, a Nippondenso 10P17C.  Check the compressor 
you're taking out.  It should have a sticker with that number on it.  The 
Zexels didn't start until '92 or '93.
