4k-DOA on side of road

the module is located inside the car if i recall correctly...
maybe someone will chime in here for me i know this has been covered 
recently....
i would think though that the hall sensor is the problem...
usually easiest thing to do is grab a used distributor from a wrecker..
tell em it's off a VW.. for some reason VW parts end up being quoted cheaper...
