I'm trying to reset from safe mode and the Audi gods are not happy.  When pressing the "AM/FM" and then the "scan" button and holding both down the display is supposed to change from safe to "1000" My display does not change.
What might be wrong?  It's a factory reconditioned unit and I have the 4  digit code but it is not allowing me to even try to.
