I wouldn't steer anyone away from a low mileage A3 car, but I will second
some of Carter's areas of concern. Do check the sunrooof assembly for smooth
operation in both directions and the wipers for functionality. Most are
manual windows, but if you're looking at a power car, check 'em out. They've
got an integrated ecu with each window motor, making it hard to jump 'em and
expensive to purchase new. Give the bodywork a good look over, they're very
popular cars to rebuild when stuffed, and the cars structure is very soft
which is great for occupant safety, but lousy for rebuilding.
