Crank position sensor/Crank trigger/ignition timing reference sensor: removal

You guys were right: 1000ohms cold, open resistance hot!  I've removed the 
allen screw holding the upper sensor (I believe that's the one), coldn't get 
the sensor loose.  Removed the screw holding the aluminum block both sensors 
mount to, can't get it loose either.  Any hints?  Is it glued/sealed on?  
Not much room down there.  I'd like to scavenge one at the scrap yard, but 
this is too much work for a used one.
