Crank position sensor/Crank trigger/ignition timing reference sensor: removal

I had to remove the aluminum block, it was stuck in there a little,
not badly though.  The old sensor had lots of crud holding it in and
it was pretty much destroyed by the time I got it out.
Get a bigger hammer.
