K-26 turbo spec ?

I just picked up the K26 turbo from the shop yesterday, and pulled the 
original unit off the URQ tonight.
I thought a K26 (oil cooled only) was a K26 (oil cooled only)!

Evidently not!
The rebuilt has a downpipe opening of 2.0", while the original has an opening 
of 2.1875". Other than that they are identical, although that would mean that 
the exhaust impellor/turbine is smaller on the rebuilt. Is there a unique 
"special" K26 turbo for the URQ?
These were both stamped "K26".
What's up?
