glovebox removal - 91 200 quattro

If you take off the dash endcap (one screw at the bottom of the cap, I 
think, and then sort of pull both up and down to slip catches out of top 
and bottom slits), you can look in under the steel part of the dash and see 
the heads of a couple of allen head screws that hold the entire assembly 
against the dash.  You only need to loosen these enough to slide it forward 
and then it'll drop off the heads of the screws.  There's also a brace at 
the back of the box that has a screw in it.  The most difficult part is 
that the screws into the dash are located so that only the short end of an 
allen wrench can be slid in to reach them.  You may be able to see those 
screw heads with just the glovebox slid open, but taking off the endcap 
makes it easier to view what you're trying to do.
