Greetings everyone,
Car is a '86 4kcsq with MC1 transplant.from an '86 5kt-autobox.
I dug through the archieves a bit, but all I came up with was timing belt
info, so...
With the flywheel mark at -0-, cam pulley mark lined up with valve cover,
and rotor pointing at the mark on the distributor housing, I assume ignition
timing is set to 0degrees. Is this where I leave it, and the ECU
advances/retards from here, or must I set it to something >0, say 6 or 12
degrees at idle, and then let the ECU make adjustments?
Also, anyone done the turbo conversion and bothered to hook up the 4kq trip
computer? Or even get the trip computer to display the clock when the
ignition is on?
Thanks
-Derek L.
