Idle speed adjusment screw woes on the 82 4ks

I have noticed that the idle speedadjusment screw on the CIS injection system
seems extremely loose. I noticed that idle was dropping really low at the end
of a
semi-regular 40 mile commute. I adjusted the screw (which felt loose), and
drove back. Lo and behold, it dropped again. I re-adjusted the screw and
made a
witness mark. I have driven it under a variety of conditions since then (to
the store, 40-mile commute, winding roads, etc), and when the idle has
dropped, the
screw has quite visible turned. When adjusted back to the mark, everything is
fine again. It seems to happens under wide open throttle conditions and after
longer drives.

My questions are:

Is this a problem with the screw, or is it in the throttle body?

If it is the screw, can it be replaced without taking off the throttle?

If I have to take off a lot of the injection system, I'll probably just end up
pulling a CIS-E system somewhere and upgrading that now.

Any info or BTDTs would be helpful.

Thanks in advance
