Car: 1989 90 quattro
Engine: 5cyl naturally aspirated, NG code
Oil: Now ->20w50 Highest Grade Non-Synthetic, Esso oil.
     Winter->10w30 same oil
Problem??: Well, what oil pressure should this thing run? And at what
temperature? (we're assuming after a good warm-up period...)

My oil pressure always seems to be right at, or even slightly above 5 bar.
Today while on the highway (120km/h, 2 hours) it did go down a mark or two.
The oil temperature (which I pay little attention to currently) was between 60
and 130 degrees celcius.

I dunno..with the way the pressure gauge seems pegged all the time I'm debating
on going to one with more range.

Oh, yes, the gauge and sender work...put your foot on the clutch and it drops
to 3 bar.

Normal??
