coolan temp sender is in the... top? no, bottom? of the top radiator
hose flange (on the head). Top if you have the 2.2, one of the several
in the multi-function sender on the bottom for the 2.3, I "think."
There I go, guessing wildly again. does sound like a bad temp sender,
wiht that 3/4 reading at cold start though.
