My car is trying to teach me who's boss

I thought I was doing my car a favor by getting it professionally
detailed in and out (though I did the engine), but ever since then it's
been trying to teach me a lesson.

First, it sounds as if one of the Bose amplifiers went, leaving an
ear-bleeding feedback like noise in it's wake. Once I learned what was
going on from the q/12v-list, and how to proceed, the problem went
away.

Yesterday, I'm cruising on down to the pool store and look down to a
messed up LCD display. I know from Bob Myers this involves digging
through the dash and cleaning the contacts. Strange this is, the start
up diagnostic worked fine. Today, that LCD problem is gone. 

Both problems seem to revolve around the Bose head unit, but then they
go into hiding. It's as if my car is trying to tell me that it can make
me miserable whenever it wants to... on a whim!

Ok, OK! I get it... no one washes and waxes you but me. Jesus, what a
tempermental *(&^(%#$@!!
