control arms, lets fix the problem

We just replaced all four lowers on a '96 A 4Q *k miles, a '98 A6Q 51 k miles 
(same part number) and a '98 A4Q 42k miles, and my brother in law now needs 
them on his '98 A4 Q 32k miles. All just this week and have done numerous car 
previosly. We buy the parts thru the after market, a supplier in Chicago, and 
he has now run out of stock. He has six hundred sets on order. 
Don't worry, Audi knows there is a problem, but as usual, they are unwilling 
to step up to the plate and take care of their customers. Look how long it 
took for them to recall the s-cars due to a fire danger under the hood with a 
leaking fuel line (90psi) next to the turbo. what's really frustrating is 
that I expect Audi buys these from a vendor rather than make them themselves 
so why not hit the vendor for the expense?
