You're wrong here, the 2Bennett setup actually used duct tape.  I got fitted 
plastic collars with mine.  And after 2 years of driving on them, both track 
and street, they still look brand new.  Couldn't be happier, and I saved 
money.  PLus, the GC guys were cool to work with, although I know not 
everyone has had the same experience as me.
